Hey Everyone!
I hope you're all having a good August! I was just alerted to the fact that the digital versions of Issues #1 and #2 were no longer in the folder for backers who pledged at Jimmy's Tier. I'm not sure what happened but I've been doing some work in Dropbox lately and I suspect the files were accidentally removed. But I've added them back to that folder, so if you tried to access them and couldn't find them, they should be there now.

Comics out + new anthology update!

Hey Everyone,
I hope you're all having a great week! Since the comics shipped out last week, I just wanted to check in and let you know to keep an eye out if you haven't received your package yet. They're on the way and should be arriving shortly, but let me know if you have any questions!
And in other exciting news, the pre-launch page is up for my upcoming sci-fi anthology, Faster Than Light! It would be super helpful if you could follow it. It goes live in September and the more followers it has on launch, the more the Kickstarter algorithm prioritizes it. Right now, the page has 92 followers and I'd love to get to 100 by the end of the week.
I'm so proud of this anthology, and genuinely honored that these talented creators are entrusting me with their work! The anthology is about family -- both families of origin and found families -- and how they stay connected in a fast-paced, futuristic world. This is my first time editing an anthology, and I'm really looking forward to getting it out into the world.
Thank you again for your support of No Spell Lasts Forever #3, it means a lot to me! I'll be sure to keep you updated as things move forward.

Hey Everyone,
I hope you all had a good weekend. I wanted to let you know that the comics have arrived, which means I'll start packing them up this week! Woohoo! They look so gorgeous, I can't wait for you to get them!
I'm also working on my Mad Cave project and, depending on how the timing of that goes over the next week or so, I might have to prioritize it over packing up the comics for a few days. But at any rate, I think we're right on track to get the comics in everyone's hands by the end of August.
I also wanted to make sure you knew about my next project, Faster Than Light. It's a sci-fi anthology I'm editing with Lesser Known Comics about families -- both families of origin and found families. The pre-launch page is live and following it would be super helpful! Kickstarter prioritizes projects that have more followers on launch.
It goes live in September and the stories that have been submitted are so good! The art is gorgeous, and the stories are all so unique. Honestly, I'm really proud of this project.

Hey Everyone!
I hope you're all having a good Friday. The comics were sent to the printer on Monday and I approved the digital proof on Tuesday, so if all goes smoothly, physical backers should get them by late-August.
I also wanted to let you know about my next project, Faster Than Light: An Anthology About Family. It's a sci-fi anthology that I'm editing with Lesser Known Comics. It's about how families of origin and found families stay connected (or struggle to do so) in a fast-paced, futuristic world. The pre-launch page is live, and I'd love it if you could follow it! The more followers a project has on launch, the more the Kickstarter algorithm prioritizes it.
The campaign launches in September, and I'm so proud of this project! The stories that have been submitted are amazing! The stories are touching and beautifully told, and the art is gorgeous! Check out the cover, by Dom Monette and Lydia Monette!
There will also be two beautiful variants by Mike Seers and Alex Guenther. I'll be sharing those soon!
One of the stories included, Refuge, is by Benn and Allan Liska and Dan Butcher. It's a fantastic story, and the exciting news is that Allan also has a campaign going on now for his comic, The Press Guardian (with art by Luke Duo). So if you read it and love it, you can check out more of his work in Faster Than Light! Here's a little bit about The Press Guardian!
The truth is under assault. The world is filled with those who flood social media, group chats and the airwaves with misinformation and disinformation. These assaults on the truth can turn into assaults on journalists, newspapers and the news itself. Its become a common refrain from those who want to silence real journalism that the news is "the enemy of the people." The institution of journalism itself needs a hero. That hero is The Press Guardian!
As someone who used to work in the world of journalism, I think this is an important and timely topic, and a powerful premise for an exciting story. Plus, one of the variants is by the amazing Marguerite Savage! Check it out!

Hey Everyone!
I hope you all had a good weekend. I wanted to let you know I just sent the files to the printer! Which means that if all goes smoothly, you'll hopefully be receiving any physical comics included in your pledge by late-August. It's always such a good feeling to get that printing order placed!
Also, I'll be sending out the digital comic TODAY, so be sure to check your Kickstarter messages!
