Hey Everyone!

If you've had a chance to check out your digital goodies, I hope you're enjoying them!

Just wanted to let you know the status of everything. I've got my backer surveys built, I'm just waiting for approval from BackerKit to send them out to you. I'm hoping that happens today.

Once those are sent and I get everyone's responses back -- including how you'd like your name to appear on the comic's Thank You page -- then I can finish up the final PDFs for the digital comic and the printer. So things should be moving along shortly!

Well, that’s it from me for now. As always, you can find me on Twitter, Instagram, and Threads @sarahccomics. Thank you so much for your interest in the comic!

Best,
Sarah

Digital rewards on the way!
4 months ago – Mon, Jul 01, 2024 at 10:28:27 AM

Hey Everyone!

Just a quick note to let you know I've started sending out the digital rewards, so check your Kickstarter inboxes! If your rewards aren't there yet, you'll be getting them shortly, most likely tonight or tomorrow.

The digital version of Issue #3 is not included yet because I'm still in the process of assembling the PDF. But if you pledged $5 or more, you'll be getting the digital comic as soon as it's ready to go.

I'll also be sending the files to the printer hopefully by the end of the week, and I'll keep you updated as that moves along.

Thank you again for supporting the comic, it genuinely means a lot to me!

Have a good Monday :)

Best,
Sarah

We did it!
4 months ago – Sat, Jun 29, 2024 at 06:30:47 AM

Hey Everyone,

The campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #3 ended last night and it demolished all of my goals!

We hit all the backer bonuses and stretch goals, and raised over $3,600 -- the most I've ever made! And what's especially exciting to me is that this campaign had 233 backers -- about 92 more than my previous best! It's really lovely to see this community growing and wonderful to know how much enthusiasm there is for the comic. I want to give a HUGE thank you to all of you for backing it, it means so much to me!

Okay, so what's next? First, I'll be sending out the backer bonuses next week, so keep an eye on your inbox for those. They'll be coming to you via Kickstarter messages. You'll also be getting your backer surveys next week, so be on the look out for those, too. And I'll get the files together shortly to send to the printer. As soon as I hear back from them, I'll let you all know more about when to expect the physical copies of the comic. I'll keep you all updated as the fulfillment process moves along.

And in the meantime, I want to let you know about a couple of other exciting comics that are live on Kickstarter.

First up is Rid of You by Amrit Birdi and Maddie Salvage. It's an anime-inspired dark fantasy graphic novel.

A tale of love, death, memories and the darkest of secrets, RID OF YOU  is a 128-page anime-inspired dark fantasy graphic novel, created by Times best-selling Illustrator Amrit Birdi. A mortal and a Faerie of Death were never meant to meet, let alone fall in love.

But when dark forces conspire to end the forbidden romance, can Tristan & Aradia overcome surmounting odds - including risking the balance of the universe itself - to live their fairytale happily ever after?

Written and illustrated by Times best-selling artist Amrit Birdi (Alex Rider, Assassins Creed, Username:Evie, Disney, Penguin RH, Ubisoft & more) with scripting and editorial from Madelaine Salvage (Alex Rider, Guardian of the Realm), this 128-page graphic novel has been over two years in the making.

Samuel and Solomon Zucker were twins taken to Auschwitz in 1942. Nazi scientists used them as guinea pigs as part of Project Uberfuhrer, their effort to create a super soldier. Instead, they created their greatest enemy - SAMSON!

But now, years after the war, Samuel discovers that the original Uberfhurer may still be alive and that Project Uberfuhrer may be up and running again.

Hey Everyone,

We're down to the last hours of the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #3! I can't believe how amazing this campaign has been. For the first time ever, the comic has drawn in over 200 backers! I want to thank you all so much for your interest in the comic! It really means a lot to me!

After the campaign ends, I'll keep you all updated about the fulfillment process. I'm going to try to actually take a little break over the weekend -- I'm not always the best at that -- but I'll get the digital rewards sent out next week. Eze is wrapping up the colors right now, and when as soon as he's done I'll get the files sent to the printer.

I can't wait for you all to read this comic!

I also wanted to shine the spotlight on a couple other exciting comics that are live on Kickstarter!

First up is Enara #1-6, by Aaron Wroblewski and Ezequiel Rubio.

It's a post-apocalyptic and present day horror. World War Z meets Outbreak. Character driven, suspense, horror, and action! As a virus continues to spread across Great Britain and Europe, Dr Marron and his team have followed Flight BA432's path to Hong Kong in hopes of learning more about the virus' source. As corrupt officials use the virus for their own political gains, the city is a powder keg just waiting for a match to strike.

One Week Left for No Spell #3!
4 months ago – Fri, Jun 21, 2024 at 06:17:52 AM

Hey Everyone,

Can you believe we're already in the last week of the campaign for No Spell Lasts Forever #3? This month has flown by!

Right now, we're at 173 backers and I'd be absolutely thrilled if I could reach 200. If you have a minute to share the campaign and help it get closer to that goal, it would be super helpful!

I want to say thank you again for your support of the comic. Seeing how interested you are all in this story means so much to me!

I also wanted to let you know about a couple other awesome comics that are live on Kickstarter.

First up is Space Cruizin' #1 by Jon Dexter, Coskun Kuzgun, and Javier Coscarelli. You might have seen me posting about Jon's other series, Alpha Dogs, which is great! Jon is a talented creator and his stories are really unique.

Space Cruizin' features Yuri, an enhanced bushido warrior. Ace, an alien who is obsessed with pop culture. And Phobos, an android whose model has been obsolete for 300 hundred years. The trio travel the galaxy hunting down earthling artifacts in an attempt to make a quick buck.

In the distant future Earth is no longer sustainable for life. Humans travel light years away to a universe where they discover two planets (later named Olympus and Washington) that are habitable for humans. However, the aliens (who insist on being called natives) rebel against earthling laws resulting in an all out war.  Enter Yuri, Ace, and Phobos. Who, try as they might continuity find themselves stumbling into galactic conflicts.
