Next Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Hey Everyone,
I hope you're all having a good week so far! I wanted to let you know No Spell Lasts Forever #3 has reached its next stretch goal! Which means everyone who pledges at a physical tier will get a Bash and Beatriz card! Check out Eze's gorgeous design!
Another exciting benchmark is that as of right now, we've got about 20 more backers than my previous best. It's really lovely to see this community growing, and I'm so grateful to all of you for your interest in the comic!
I also want to highlight a couple of other exciting campaigns that are live on Kickstarter.
First up is The Wishing Stone, a novella by James Powell. James is a super-talented prose and comics writer and he has been my editor for a lot of the projects I've been working on. He's an amazing editor and he has really helped me level up my writing. When it comes to constructing a good story, he just gets it. And the cool thing about this campaign is you can get the book as a hardcover! But it's only live for one week, so now is the time to back it!
Here's a little more about it:
An unsung young artist's careless wish pulls her into an epic battle for everything she holds dear. Izzy’s family doesn’t appreciate her talents with prosthetic makeup and costume design. They don't care about her love of scary stories or her collection of miniature monsters, either. As Halloween approaches, she’s practicing transforming herself into one of the undead, hoping her skills finally earn the attention they deserve.
Before the big night, Mrs. Greene, the irritable woman Izzy cares for after school, approaches the one place the neighborhood kids avoid at all costs: the Ugly House.
Acting strangely, the woman steals a rock from in front of that dark house, claiming it has the power to grant any wish. When she gives Izzy her own wishing stone, the girl makes a careless wish that pulls her into an epic battle for her life and the lives of everyone she holds dear.

Next, I want to shine the spotlight on Blood of Atlantis #1, a modern epic magical adventure by Jon Auerbach, Francine Delgado, Danny Sanchez Chaves, and Toben Racicot.
The art is gorgeous and there are some really exciting variants. Plus other cool rewards, like Francine's original art and the chance to get drawn into the comic!

I also wanted to take the opportunity to highlight another awesome comic live on Kickstarter. It's Immortal Coil #1, by Gerald Von Stoddard.

Second Stretch Goal Unlocked!

I hope your week is off to a good start. I have exciting news! No Spell Lasts Forever #3 has reached its second Stretch Goal! In fact, we're almost $200 over it. And that means everyone who pledges at a physical level will get a printed Rosette card made using Eze's gorgeous digital poster design! Check it out!

I also wanted to highlight another really great comics that's live on Kickstarter. It's Ashes of Eden #1, an anime-style adventure in occult archeology by Jesse Judy.

DnD Update + New Backer Bonus

Hey Everyone,
If you saw the last update, you know that I'm doing a really fun thing with Ray Jamison, creator of The Madcaps, and a group of other talented creators. We're playing a DnD session using characters based on the characters from our own comics, so I'll be playing with a human rogue, arcane trickster version of Rosette. But it won't be happening tonight like I said in the last message. It's being rescheduled for sometime later this month, and I'll be sure to let you know once we have a new time. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case you were waiting for more info on how to tune in!

By AJ Rojek, Red Veril, Daniela Barisone, and Amal Desai, the story follows a kid prodigy starpilot who was the best in the galaxy until the government forced her to retire. If, like me, you're a fan of sci-fi comics with compelling female protagonists, you'll definitely want to to check it out!
